Cuc Phuong National Park

Ninh Binh is the homeland of many beautiful sights, including the Cuc Phuong National Park - with spectacular limestone peaks rising in Tam Coc, the area is referred to as 'the inland Ha Long'. This special slice of nature can be experienced through an exciting trek through the jungle of the national park, with chances to learn about the diverse fauna & flora. Stay overnight with a family of the Muong minority in their traditional stilt houses. The next day, take in the serenity of a relaxing rowboat crossing in between the towering limestone peaks along the river of Tam Coc. This trip will surely enrich your travel experience with priceless memories.

Day 1: Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Cuc Phuong National Park (L, D)

In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and depart for Hoa Lu - the ancient capital of Vietnam since the 9th century. You will then drive to Tam Coc, which is considered the land version of Halong Bay. After lunch you will take a boat ride on Ngo Dong River to see 3 amazing caves. In the afternoon, continue to Cuc Phuong National Park, which is considered a diverse natural wonder and it is untouched in many areas, with abundant tropical forests, animals and plants. Stay here for dinner & an overnight stay in traditional stilt houses.

Day 2: Cuc Phuong - Hanoi (B, L)

After breakfast, you will hike to see the thousand-year-old tree, then onto the Ancient Man Cave and Animal Rescue Centre before having lunch at a local restaurant. After this, you will return to Ha Noi.
